What is simplot stadium?

Simplot Stadium is a football stadium located in the city of Caldwell, Idaho. It is the home stadium of the College of Idaho Coyotes football team. The stadium was named after potato magnate and philanthropist J.R. Simplot, who donated $2.5 million towards its construction. Simplot Stadium has a seating capacity of 4,500 spectators and features FieldTurf playing surface. The stadium was opened in September 2015 and replaced the old Simplot Stadium, which was built in 1977 and had a seating capacity of only 2,500 spectators. In addition to hosting football games, Simplot Stadium is also used for other events such as concerts, soccer games, and local high school events.
